CLARENCE BOURGOIN

Clarence Bourgoin

Canadian painter Clarence Bourgoin was born in St. Leonard, New Brunswick in 1946 and has lived in Quebec for 30 years.

Figurative artist and part of the expressionist movement, he describes himself as a "landscape hunter". His 40 year career includes numerous participations in figurative art symposia in Quebec and worldwide prizes and honorary mention awards.

In 2007, during an exhibition at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, Mr. Bourgoin was awarded a special prize for his work by the "Bureau of the National Society of Fine Arts of Paris". In 2005, the International Artist Magazine highlighted his work in an article titled "Masters Painter of the World Canada Showcase, 2005". Clarence Bourgoin's work is repertoried at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and is a member of the Institute of Figurative Arts.
